About the Artist
Elsa Kegelman is a Delaware-born actor, singer, theatre educator, and "good mover" according to those precious few choreographers who have worked with her.
Elsa received her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. During her time at NYU, Elsa studied at the Stella Adler Studio, to which she credits her strong command of text, consistency in her technique, and her impressive collection of corks.
Since graduating, Elsa has been an active member of the Greater Philadelphia theater community. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Elsa participated in virtual readings and pre-recorded video on demand theatre performances, including New Light Theatre's A Christmas Carol, and Kara Sevda, which was part of So Low Fest 2021.
Next, Elsa will be performing in New Light Theatre's production of Citizen, a video-on-demand offering, directed by Lindsay Smiling.
"Life beats down and crushes the soul, and art reminds you that you have one."
