About the Artist
Elsa Kegelman is a Delaware-born actor, singer, theatre educator, and "good mover" according to those precious few choreographers who have worked with her.
Elsa received her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. During her time at NYU, Elsa studied at the Stella Adler Studio, to which she credits her strong command of text and consistency in her technique.
She moved back to Delaware to explore the Philadelphia theatre scene in February 2019 and has been performing consistently since then. Select credits include Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company's production of Measure for Measure and New Light Theatre's production of Othello.
During COVID-19, Elsa has appeared in a handful of virtual performances and continues in her role as a supporting staff member of New Light Theatre.
"Life beats down and crushes the soul, and art reminds you that you have one."
